There has been an e-mail blast, making the rounds of the internet, claiming that Obama has implemented the Dream Act by executive order.

Churchville, VA—Obama's Secretary of Agriculture thinks food stamps are an “economic stimulus”! I can't think of a sadder or more realistic commentary on the Obama Administration's clueless approach to economics. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says that each dollar of food stamp spending generates $1.84 worth of economic activity out there in the “great economic beyond” that he apparently never saw in his legal career.

The only time I feel really safe is when the Congress and the President are recessed and/or out of town.  That is not an original statement.  Someone said it long before I -- and that makes it even weightier, or lends it more gravitas, if you please.

As the President sweeps through the Midwest, bashing republicans at every stop, riding in a black custom-made bus (made in Canada), and campaigning all the way, it is difficult NOT to notice that fuel for the bus is not the only thing being paid for with taxpayer dollars.

While watching the Debt Ceiling increase by $2.4 trillion just to cover spending until the next presidential election, the scam perpetrated on the American people could not have been any more obvious.

If all I knew about the Republican presidential candidates is what I saw on that stage in Ames, Iowa, last week, my candidates would be Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

Until fairly recently in America patriotism was defined as “devotion to one's own country and concern for its defense.” Nationalism was considered “devotion to the interests or culture of one's nation.” Both were, in my opinion, GOOD things.

The so-called Super Committee is a FARCE. It is doomed to failure.
