The Freedom “Brain Trust” That Sparked an Agenda 21 Revolt

Posted in: Tom DeWeese
Just one year ago I sponsored the Freedom Action National Conference at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. It turned out to be an historic gathering, because this was the event that essentially parked the current national firestorm against the UN's Agenda 21. Here activists from around the nation heard from the foremost Agenda 21 experts about why this United Nations' policy is such a threat to American society. And from this event, those activists returned home, inspired to take on the battle to oust such policy from their local communities.

E-verify IS a Threat to Liberty!

I don’t know Peter Gadiel, and he apparently knows absolutely nothing about me. But that hasn’t stopped him from attacking me in a recent article (Influential Conservative is Dangerously Wrong on E-Verify). His article makes some outrageous statements about me, even to presume he can tell you what motives are in my head when I take a position.

The Reality of a Green World... Three Wolves and a Sheep Voting on What to Have For Lunch

Posted in: Tom DeWeese
After fighting the radical environmental movement for more than 20 years, I have come to one basic conclusion: the people who understand and care for the environment the least are environmentalists. My experience has shown that the leaders of this once-popular and still powerful force simply use the environment as an excuse to impose a radical, socialist agenda. Meanwhile, the faithful rank and file of the movement believe anything if it is attached to the label “green,” rarely questioning if the statement is true or not.

The People’s Republic of San Francisco Bans Happy Meals

San Francisco hates McDonalds. The Board of Supervisors would ban them from the city if they had the guts. Instead the city's “leaderthings” cower behind radical, senseless rules and regulations – just for the community good, whether the community wants them or not.

Americans Fight Back as TSA Blinks

Posted in: Tom DeWeese
Just days before the busiest travel weekend of the year (Thanksgiving holiday) the Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Security Administration (TSA) decided to flex its muscle and not only enforce the use of the very unpopular whole body imaging x-ray machines (called by many, the naked machines), but for those who refused to use them, the TSA generously offered a “choice” of a vigorous manual groping. Worse or “even worse” is not a choice. Americans finally got upset and said so.

Animal Rights is not Animal Welfare

Here's another issue that is decided with the mentality of a little girl who just likes fluffy animals. The Animal Rights movement is one of the most violent of the nation. It plays on the heartstrings of emotional children, like actress Pam Anderson, where reason and knowledge give way to raw emotion. Most people take up the animal rights cause because they care about the “welfare” of the animals. Few want to see animals suffer and they want something done when it happens. But animal welfare and animal protection have nothing to do with the animal rights movement. Frankly, it's too nuts to explain rationally. So, here, let them tell you in their own words.

The Conservative Blind Spot

Posted in: Tom DeWeese
There is a blind spot in the main stream Conservative movement that threatens everything the movement says it stands for. The blind spot is refusal to acknowledge the threat of Sustainable Development, the policy of the UN's Agenda 21 that now permeates into every American city. Somehow, the Conservative leaders who have always been there to fight off such utopian, socialist nightmares now seem to slumber blissfully in their ignorance at the very moment when vigilance is most urgently needed.

Teachers, Preachers and Greens... The Unholy Alliance to Transform America

Posted in: Tom DeWeese

When Communism “fell” in the late 1980's, those who were busy scheming to impose global governance on the sovereign nations had a problem. Suddenly, the only super power in the world was the United States – the only nation on Earth based on the ideals of limited government, individual liberty and free enterprise. If American bedrock ideals of freedom took hold in the emerging nations of the old Soviet Empire, global governance was impossible.

Greens Just Can’t Stop Their Scare Tactics

Posted in: Tom DeWeese

Last year the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) declared CO2 a pollutant and set about banning such emissions to save the planet. Real scientists tried to point out that nature needs CO2 to thrive. OK, so the Greens kind of heard that logic and quickly sought ways to subvert it into a new Frankenstein-style horror story. The result, headlines in The Washington Post (August 31, 2010) that rising CO2 levels are... wait for it... causing poison ivy to grow more prolifically.

APC's Efforts to Expose ICLEI Having an Impact

Posted in: Tom DeWeese
Over the past several months, the American Policy Center (APC) has mailed more than 100,000 “Remove ICLEI, Restore the Republic Survey” to Americans across the nation. The mail package contained not only the Survey, but also a detailed report on Sustainable Development and how ICLEI (International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives) is being paid dues by local communities to impose this UN Agenda 21 policy.
