That’s right. The Muslims move in. So the school has to change its name to reflect the neighborhood.

What?

Oh, it’s just another Muslim demand upon a cultural change because the Muslims want a change. Of course, the demand has nothing to do with "religion," according to The Sun’s John Scott.

Yes. St. Andrew’s Junior and Infants is 150 years old. Imagine that. Having a name last that long. Why, it must be because the name means something to all who have gone through that school as well as the stature of the institution in the community and surrounding regions.

But naturally that means zip to Muslims who have decided that St. Andrews’ Junior and Infants is no longer to be called St. Andrews’ Junior and Infants. And—remember—this demand has nothing to do with "religion."

The edifice is now used "by a nursery and kids’ centre." Therefore, St. Andrews’ Junior and Infants should be wiped off the building. Henceforth it should have some sort of Islamic sound to the name. Then again this has nothing to do with "religion."

Therefore, "council bosses" put out to media that there is to be a special occasion in the offing. It will be the structure’s name change. Naturally those with their brain cells in order are just a bit suspicious that all this name change business "is linked to the fact that 62 percent of the people in Bordesley, Birmingham, are from ethnic backgrounds."

Three guesses what "ethnic," since the press is into being politically correct. Of course, with the liberal press the "M" word is anathema.

It’s the same with Muslim murderers global and Islamic killers international. They are not called that, naturally. They are called "insurgents" and "terrorist" and those of the "ideology of hate." But who would ever put two and two together to come up with the conclusion that "insurgents" and "terrorists" are in truth Muslim murderers global and Islamic killers international?

So it is in Birmingham. However, something about "ethnic" rings a bell in the heads of the truly logical in those parts.

Of course, to set the matter straight, Birmingham Labour MP Khlaid Mahmood (did you get that name—ethnic, perchance?) said to the press: "’This doesn’t help the Muslim community at all.’" What Mahmood was referring to was not the name change but the fuss non-Muslims are staging regarding the name change. He thinks, in other words, that the fuss does not help the Muslim community at all.

And of course, in today’s politically world when a Muslim makes a demand of another culture, that demand is forthcoming for we would not want to make the Muslim community uncomfortable, now would we?

However, making the Muslim community uncomfortable did not disturb the University of Albany President Kermit Hall when asked if he were going to cancel classes for Muslim holidays. He told the student body and faculty that he was not going to dismiss classes for Muslim holidays, only for the traditional American holidays that heretofore have had classes cancelled, such as Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

There you have it. No classes cancelled for Muslim holidays. So it should be in Birmingham: no school name change for Muslim community feeling badly.

Tory MP for nearby Sutton Codfield, Andrew Mitchell, said to the press: "’I’ve a nasty feeling there’s an element of political correctness in all this.’"

Ah-hem. Could be, Mr. Mitchell. So what are you and the rest of the community going to do about it? That’s what we non-Muslims would like to know.

According to The Sun report, "Furious MPs have attacked plans to axe a saint from a school name." Time will tell what becomes of the attack plans.

In the meantime, note that the school edifice is near to the city’s FC’s ground, also known as St. Andrew’s since 1906.

Yet still in response to all this, a council spokesperson demanded: "’The change is nothing to do with religion.’"

You bet your sword’s edge it doesn’t.
