Circuit Judge George Greer will be lauded at the American Civil Liberties Union banquet, according to Steven Ertelt, LifeNews.com Editor.
Greer will receive an award because of authorizing the death of Terri Schiavo. In other words, the judge favored what the ACLU favors: euthanasia.
ACLU assisted the deceased’s estranged husband seeing through the "right to euthanize her."
Once again, the ACLU shows itself on the side of the death culture. However, on its site and in its various news releases it constantly states that it is neutral on all issues, regarding their reason for being to defend anyone’s right.
But more times than not, the right the ACLU defends has to do with the negative, particularly death.
That is why the ACLU and the US Democrat Party are very similar. The Democrat Party proposes death to the biblical definitions of marriage, family, sexuality, femininity and masculinity. It endorses euthanasia and killing womb babies. It supports death to the Judeo-Christian American heritage and freedom of religious expression, though the latter is undeniably afforded in the US Constitution’s First Amendment. The Party stands alongside hate speech as a form of political address, that being often verbiage defending one death issue or another.
The Republican Party instead stands for life issues and a life culture. Therefore, that party defends the biblical definition of marriage, family, sexuality, femininity and masculinity. That party defends womb babies and the elderly and crippled. The Republicans stand for embracing the American Judeo-Christian tradition as well as the free expression of religious faith in the marketplace.
In keeping with its tradition, the ACLU celebrates death to Terri Schiavo at its dinner. One wonders what kind of guests appear at such a function and what kind of conversation circles around the tables. Further, how does one introduce a Death Judge and how do those attending bring their hands together to applaud such an award ceremony?
Nevertheless, it will take place for those in the ACLU are basically so crusted to the death positions that there is no real emotion involved when applauding euthanasia or any other of their clients’ issues focusing on death.
"At an upcoming dinner, Judge Greer, who authorized Michael Schiavo to end Terri's life over the objections of her parents and family, will receive the Gardner W. Beckett Jr. Civil Liberties Award. Greer will be honored Thursday at the Feather Sound Country Club.
"Wesley J. Smith, an attorney who closely follows medical ethics issues, said, during the legal battle over Terri's life, that Judge Greer was performing terribly in the courtroom.
"’As bad as Michael has been, in many ways, the performance of Judge George W. Greer of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, the jurist who oversees Terri's case, has been even worse,’ he explained. ‘Over the years Greer has repeatedly allowed Michael to shirk his legal mandate as guardian to file annual prospective "guardianship plans," specifying his proposal for providing for Terri's medical and social needs for the coming year.’
"’Judge Greer's performance has been so deficient that he should be removed from the case forthwith, if not impeached,’ he explained."
