I admit it. I subscribe to the National Council of The Race [La Raza] newsletter and legislation action alerts.
Know thine enemy, I think. Doing so also helps to illustrate who the racists are.
When you go to the La Raza Website, count the times you read the words “Latino” and “Hispanic”. Now count the times that you read the word “American”.
I sometimes wish that these race-based illegal alien assistance groups would make the rest of us a list of the laws that they have some intention of obeying. [If any]
I also proudly subscribe to NumbersUSA and FAIR’s alerts. Usually they regard the same topic or piece of legislation as La Raza’s, and the contrast in perspective is a constant reminder of who and what it is currently threatening the very foundations of our republic.
An example, consider H.R. 10, a bill recently approved in the House of Representatives.
As Sam Francis writes, H.R. 10 would indeed close several loopholes in our nearly enforced immigration laws. And it will, if not neutered by an election year Senate just looking for a better life in the eyes of the profiteering illegal alien lobby, make it easier to deport illegal aliens and to have actual control over the issuance of the national ID card in our nation – the driver’s license.
What a concept.
Guess who sees it differently?
It seems that this bill is not so much pro-American security, as it is “anti-Latino”.
From Flavia Jimenez - La Raza;
"HOUSE BILL COULD LEAD TO DEPORTATION OF 1,000,000 LATINOS
"Take Action!
"Call your representative today and them to oppose HR 10.
"Today, The House of Representatives will be voting on HR 10, a bill that could be devastating to Latinos living in the U.S.
"This bill is a deliberate attempt to hurt Latinos. Rather than concentrating on national security and the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission, this bill contains anti-immigrant provisions that do not make us any safer.
"H.R. 10 would prohibit the use of foreign documents, such as the Matricula consular card. It would severely restrict driver's licenses for immigrants, and it could result in the deportation of approximately 1 million immigrants through expedited removal procedures.
"This bill is an attack on Latinos. Please contact your Representative NOW and urge him/her to OPPOSE HR10."
La Raza and the rest of the illegal alien lobby lost that one. They will not give up. On to the Senate.
So that MICHNEWS readers can stay abreast of the true intent of protecting Americans in America according to La Raza, I hope and suggest that many of you will do as I have and sign up for La Raza “Action Alerts” and have them sent directly to your own computer.
Better to understand both sides of what some call the “debate” that is an ongoing war for the future of our children’s republic.
Illegal immigration is a multi-billion dollar a year act of organized crime, and absent the effort of our government, it will “take a village” - or an entire nation - of aware and angry citizens to stop that treasonous criminal activity. Be aware that the many who profit from this organized crime do not take kindly to anyone who speaks up against it.
If you are not a NumbersUSA and FAIR Action/Info Alert subscriber, it is my suggestion that you are not taking full advantage of a chance for daily, educational opportunities to make your voice heard in our government that is purportedly of the people and by the people.
It is this humble immigration crime fighter's constant observation that knowledge is power and silence is consent – the people who would take our nation appear to share that sentiment. We must fight them. Every day.
As an alert of my own, please be advised that CNN PRESENTS will be airing, planet wide, a one hour documentary concerning illegal immigration focused on my home state of Georgia, Sunday, October 17, 2004 @ 8 &11 PM – eastern time. However it is edited, it can only serve as an insight as to why I sometimes sadly use the term “Georgiafornia”.
