"Press one to continue in English"
MichNews.com-- Vincent Gioia -- America is a “Melting Pot” (if it still is) because until now English has been the de facto national language. Efforts to make English the official national language have failed in congress due to federal legislators acting on the misguided notion that to make English our official national language would be offensive to some. This is the natural extension of the worst form of political correctness.

A mother is a mother forever
MichNews.com-- Marie Hahnenberg -- Mother’s Day is a wonderful time to honor our mothers, who have done so much for us. Our mothers carried us in their wombs for nine months, brought us into this world, raised us and helped to form us into who we are today.

What would Hillary Clinton do to our country as president?
MichNews.com-- Vincent Gioia -- We have pondered about Barack Obama as president but as events unfold and Hillary seems to be getting the upper hand for the Democrat presidential nomination, we need to reexamine what this "smartest woman in the world" would do to our country.

How Stupid Do They Think We Are?
MichNews.com-- Lee Duigon -- Do you think the Trojan horse trick would have worked if the Greeks had only built a framework of a horse, with some scaffolds in it? Would the Trojans have been fooled if they could have seen the enemy soldiers, in full armor, sitting inside the wooden skeleton?

Ben Stein's Dangerous Idea
MichNews.com-- Robert E. Meyer -- Ben Stein has a dangerous idea. His idea is that professors and teachers who express skepticism about Darwinism are likely to find themselves not granted tenure, castigated and ridiculed, and disqualified from the opportunity to have research papers published.

A More Perfect Union Rests on a Balance of Ideas

Kids Say, "Enough with the 'Gay' Stuff!"
MichNews.com-- J. Matt Barber -- On April 25, adult homosexual activists with the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) held their annual “Day of Silence” (DOS) propaganda push. During DOS, teachers and students in roughly three thousand middle schools, high schools and colleges across the country are cynically used as culture war pawns in an effort to legitimize conventionally immoral, objectively deviant and demonstrably high-risk sexual behaviors.

Nothing To Offer, Nothing Left To Say
MichNews.com-- JR Dieckmann -- For the past 3 days I have been trying to come up with a topic to write about this week, but I keep coming up with the same answer - nothing. Which incidentally is pretty much the same answer Mrs. Clinton comes up with to most every question she’s asked in an interview.

Oprah Shifts to the Dark Side
MichNews.com-- Marsha West -- Notorious New Ager George Lucas’s wildly popular Star Wars movies abound with occult themes. In Return of the Jedi, dissident Jedi warrior Anakin Skywalker fell to the dark side of the Force and became the evil Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader. Likewise, Oprah Winfrey has fully shifted to the dark side and is a full-fledged New Age spiritual leader and occultist. Make no mistake about it: as with Vader, Oprah is fully aware that she has made The Shift.

The silent jihad against the west
MichNews.com-- Vincent Gioia -- Anyone that cares to learn about what is going on in the world is familiar with active jihad, the "holy war", conducted with terrorism and directed at the modern world in general and western civilization more specifically. But there is also another form of jihad that is part of the deliberate effort to have Islam replace all concepts of morality and the values held dear by the rest of us. The name of this silent "fifth column" effort is "Sharia Banking". Unfortunately, Sharia Banking is ....
