The primary thus far has been a deservedly hellish experience for presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and things are only going to get worse. But what should the nation expect from a “congenital liar” and a Centrist imposter who represent a Democratic Party so much dominated by Liberals that its Congressional Moderates and Conservatives could hold their meetings in a cloakroom that doubles as the Blue Dog Democrat Clubhouse.

First to Hillary Clinton, who has throughout this primary season regularly confirmed the public’s view of her as a shameless, incorrigible liar with sulfurous lies, for example, about the vast experience she gained during her important work regarding the Northern Ireland peace process and her tireless labors opposing her husband’s trade policies.

Recently, however, the great liar felt a compulsion to set a new standard for her perverse art. But for Hillary there was no imitating athletes who strive merely for the “next level,” explaining why she flew downward, past circle after circle until she landed close to the circle occupied by the “liar and father of lies.”

There, to puff up her warrior self while diminishing Barack as a callow community organizer who has fought battles armed only with a pencil and clipboard, she lied an astonishing lie about coming under sniper fire in Bosnia, thereby insulting every soldier who ever stood in harm’s way, every husband, wife, child, parent, and friend of every soldier who ever stood in harm’s way, and the entirety of the military itself, that noble institution immortalized by Virgil when he reverently opened the Aeneid with the words, “Of arms and the man I sing.”

In a better world, that vile lie would immediately disqualify Hillary from ever being president. So, too, would her decades long lying about her husband’s rotten behavior and her complicity in his attempts to silence brave, truth telling accusers by smearing them with filthy buckets of nuts and sluts and dirty IRS investigations.

(Can we even imagine Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis appearing in the public forum to deflect attention from the sordid aspects of JFK’s life by blaming a “vast Right-Wing conspiracy” for disseminating lies about his sexual behavior? But then her life is a testament to the fact she was no rapacious Lady MacBeth, whose bosom heaved and breath blew hot with passion just at the thought of political power.)

Yet, though bleeding delegates and popular votes, Hillary is still laughing her lies in the Democratic primary.

Perhaps not for long, though, because increasing numbers of Americans are perceiving the real Hillary, as evidenced by a new Washington Post-ABC News poll that finds 63% of Democrats regarding her as honest, down from a high of 81% in 2006.

Even worse, only 37% of Independents and 16% of Republicans find Hillary honest for a total of 39% of the entire public.

We turn now to Barack Obama, who asks us to believe his excellent education let him down when he tried to explain the sources of the discontent felt by citizens of small town America but succeeded only in describing them as an angry, bitter, prejudiced bunch of Bible thumping gun brandishing fools.

Actually, however, the opposite is true. After all, the education Barack received at Harvard and from Radic-Lib friends has excellently prepared him to say what he said. And he said it well.

Maybe not as well as Marx, who scorned the Middle Class for having the audacity to believe in the right to life, liberty, and a pursuit of happiness that includes freedom of worship and freedom to keep and bear arms.

Maybe not as well as the speaker of Langston Hughes’ “Goodbye Christ,” who had the audacity to dismiss religion, extol communism, and issue the following injunction to Christ:

“Beat it on away from here now

Make way for a new guy with no religion at all—
A real guy named

Marx Communist Lenin Peasant Stalin Worker ME”

But well enough.

To his credit, however, and despite his perpetually plugged in Foggy Hope Machine, Barack has been pretty much up front about his thoroughly Liberal vision for America, explaining why 

Democrats give him a smack down 23 point “honesty” lead over his truly angry, bitter rival.

In the most important poll of all, however, it’s looking as though the public has increasingly had it with the real gal named Hillary Liberal Liar Shameless Phony and the real guy named Barack Liberal Elitist and therefore will wave a resolute and emphatic goodbye to whichever one makes it to November.
