The current flap between Venezuela and Colombia is really yet another confrontation between Hugo Chavez and The United States. As such, it is another reminder of just how absurd, hypocritical and foolish this tyrant really is.
With Neighbors Like These…
The ties between Hugo Chavez and the notorious FARC terrorist group are evident and logical given his stance regarding the group. Sufficient to say that Chavez owes much to this group and it owes much to him as well. He has made it a habit to provide sanctuary to these despicable criminals whose disrespect for life and human rights is a matter of record written in blood and tears. To make matters worse, this tyrant speaks of this group as if they were noble, benevolent heroes struggling for the good of the powerless masses and poor.
Like all evil bullies, Chavez conveniently ignores the fact that FARC has been nothing but an agent of death, suffering and destruction that has infected Colombia and threatens its very existence as a stable, viable and free democracy. By providing sanctuary to these goons, Chavez has himself repeatedly disrespected Colombia’s sovereignty and integrity as a nation. From the standpoint of international morality, providing sanctuary to those who inflict harm upon a nation is as good as invading that nation oneself, so Chavez has, in a sense, often invaded Colombia in the interest of his own agenda. That agenda has repeatedly and forcefully been shown, on many levels, to be selfish, arrogant, anti-US and against the free exercise of democracy.
In short, this vile tyrant has disrespected Colombia for some time now and, apparently, he either does not care to recognize that or, so consistently with brazenly arrogant despots, he only legitimizes and recognizes those acts which serve his own purposes and agenda.
By harboring those seeking to destroy a free Colombia, Hugo Chavez has undertaken that mission himself. As such, he represents a direct and present threat to Colombia himself.
If Chavez will not at least prevent FARC from fleeing into his nation, then Colombia is forced, as any sovereign nation would, to defend itself by seeking out those who would threaten its existence. Any citizen of the world knows that it is a crime to harbor a criminal because, by doing so, one facilitates and encourages that criminal to continue his crimes.
We need not concern ourselves in the present discussion with Ecuador because, by all indications, it is nothing more than Venezuela West in this situation, catering and submitting to whatever rhetoric and agenda Hugo Chavez dictates. This has been shown by its stance in the present situation where, through its actions, the Ecuadorian government seems more intent on appeasing the terrorists than helping to stamp them out.
Chavez has shown his hatred for the United States often and consistently, and he enjoys every opportunity to spew this hatred toward those who call themselves allies of this nation. This is why this situation is really another way for Chavez to flex his delusional muscles toward this country. On numerous occasions in the past, including his famous visit to the United Nations, Hugo Chavez has reminded us that the size of his brain is inversely proportional to the size of his mouth.
Look Who’s Talking
On numerous occasions, Chavez has expressed his admiration and praise for FARC, its leaders and their motives and agenda. While calling Colombia “a terrorist state” and its president, Alvaro Uribe, “a criminal” for attacking a FARC camp inside the Ecuador border and killing one of its leaders, Chavez referred to that leader as a “true revolutionary” and protested that Colombia had violated Ecuador’s sovereignty.
Considering Chavez’s long association with the most treacherous tyrants and despots of this globe, it is the height of absurdity and audacity for this despot to call anyone a criminal or any nation a terrorist state. Of course, we must recall that this is the same fool who called Condoleezza Rice, who has a Doctorate, “illiterate” while he dropped out of college. This imbecile randomly calls others criminals while his government is brimming with corruption, fraud and mismanagement. It appears that the only Doctorate that Chavez will ever receive is in advanced hypocrisy and ignorance.
Here, once again, we see Venezuela’s resident clown calling Colombia a terrorist nation and its leader a liar when, in fact, it is Chavez who sponsors, supports and assists terrorism through his links to FARC, passive endorsement of their actions and general associations throughout the world. From all indications over the past years, it is a great honor and privilege to be insulted by this idiot, because he tends to insult those who are the complete opposite of himself. Given the fact that he is a tyrant, a despot, a liar, an incompetent buffoon and an arrogant bully, acting in complete opposite of Hugo Chavez is international certification of honor, integrity, courage and respect for national sovereignty and freedom.
Conclusion
Hugo Chavez once likened himself to Simon Bolivar, the legendary icon of South American history. I assure you that this is one of the most absurd comparisons ever uttered by any leader of any nation. By all historical accounts, Simon Bolivar was a classy, educated and intelligent man of great integrity, courage, honor and respect for human rights. A friend of the United States, Bolivar represented everything that was right with South American efforts to work toward democracy. Rather than destabilize and harm South America’s political and social fabric, as Chavez has done, Bolivar was a champion of greater stability and wished political integrity and unity. In fact, there can be no more distance between the iconic master of South America’s past glory and this ignoble fool of its present instability.
Chavez can barely handle running his own nation. His people are slowly but surely beginning to see just what an incompetent fool he is, and many are trying to figure out how to remove this virus from their government. This is the big mouth who is now warning Colombia not to fight for its national defense against an internal enemy that Chavez protects, defends and supports. There are few, if any, better examples of arrogant ignorance, corruption and hypocrisy than Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.
When it comes to the present flap with Colombia, Chavez reminds us that Venezuela’s present leadership is an extremist sundae with an idiot on top.
