Any residual questions as to the efficacy and accuracy of liberal polls, and liberals and leftists in general, are being answered. They are neither useful nor truthful. In regards to the recent Pew poll data on Iraq, the polls challenge that which our esteemed mainstream media have been reporting. This comes as no surprise, as the old leftist media (AKA: MSM) have continued to maintain an anti-President Bush agenda, even prior to his election in 2000.
Of interest is a recent Pew Research Center for the People & the Press poll, which ascertained crucial and marked differences between the leftist media and those in academe and the American public. This conducted poll illustrated the difference in attitudes toward the US war against terrorism in Iraq and compared the Lefts answers to the general US public. The results belied the MSMs reporting and were startling. Startling, that is, to all except those of us who already knew that the MSMs reportage was and is bogus. It also confirms that the MSM does not report any news correctly if it strays from their agenda. Instead, old leftist media manipulate the news to support their own desires and schemes. Although the MSM tells us constantly that the majority of Americans are against the Iraq war, the new Pew poll data contradicts that assertion. The poll revealed the following information on the asked question Do you think democracy will succeed in Iraq?
56% of the American public polled said Yes
64% of the US military in Iraq said Yes
33% of journalists said it only had a chance
27% of the academic world said it might succeed
When asked if they thought the decision for military action in Iraq was the correct one, those polled responded with almost 50% of the American public saying Yes. However, on the liberal/leftist side of the fence only 21% of academics and 28% of the press believes it was justified. Hmmm. It strongly appears that any factual results, regarding the Iraq scenario, old media report are taken from their own small and ever-decreasing groups! And from what Ive observed, most (if not all) of these polls are heavily-weighted toward the liberal side of the house. That is, more liberals results are included in polling data than those identifying themselves as conservatives. Againno surprise here! Note: This may explain the continuing contradictions of poll results.
Now, for a bit of comic relief, we have a new potential poster-boy for the increasingly deranged Left. US Democrat leaders have almost worn out their Bush lied and/or misled us into the Iraq war mantra. Of course, these leaders know that it is they who are lying. But, what the heck! Democrats also know that if they dont say it, they wont get funding to refill their campaign coffers. Note: Currently, its the far-left contingent of the Democrat Party (actually this group is the New mainstream of the Party) that owns and controls the purse-strings for Dem candidates. So, Democrats are now searching for anyone who can give them something new to pin on President Bush.
Could the Democrat Party be courting former Canadian Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister, Paul Hellyer, as their new spokesman? His rantings sound just like what the leftist Democrats need. Recently, Hellyer made the following comments, during a speech at the University of Toronto: "The United States military are preparing weapons which could be used against the aliens, and they could get us into an intergalactic war without us ever having any warning. The Bush administration has finally agreed to let the military build a forward base on the moon, which will put them in a better position to keep track of the goings and comings of the visitors from space, and to shoot at them, if they so decide." AARGH and Phtooey!!!
If they do decide to bring Hellyer into their fold, will the Democrats finally have the ammo they need to bring down a sitting Republican president? Already having screeched to the world-at-large that President Bush is responsible for all the ills of mankind (even prior to his birth), the beasts of the field and the planet Earth, Democrats would now be able to claim that Bush was the cause of any and/or all future interplanetary wars! It sure seems as if this is a logical culmination of their derangement and ragea rage brought on via losing elections.
Wait a minute! Might George Lucas be thinking about a film based on President Bush starting a galactic war? Is Spielberg? This could actually invigorate the sagging Leftist Entertainment Industrial Complex! Ill bet some leftist somewhere is out there who is actually considering it. Besides, as their messages continue to resonate less and less with intelligent people, Democrats have to come up with something even more outlandish than their previous statements. Could blaming President Bush for the potential-or-maybe annihilation of an interplanetary alien menace be a new strategy for them? Guess well just have to take a wait-and-see posture. However, if we place our faith in the historic shenanigans of the Democrat Party, the next charges against the president will be more inane and idiotic than were the past ones. Maybe Lucas or Spielberg can use the Howard Dean Scream or John Kerrys Monotone Meanderings in their special effects. That way, fear, horror and disgust could be simultaneously incorporated into the same scene! Now, thats something that might be worth seeingafter its been out on DVDfor several months.
