President Bush just gave a 50 minute speech that was one of the most stirring, electrifying and inspiring of any of his speeches in his career. It reminded me of some of the top war speeches given by Churchill, Roosevelt and Reagan. I hope this speech, not carried by any of the left-leaning networks, will be repeated, talked about by network news pundits and also printed in all the news magazines on the Internet as well as other printed news magazines.
Into the 39th minute, Bush also said that it was deeply irresponsible to rewrite history as some Democrats and anti-war people are doing today for political reasons. These same Democrats including Kerry who ran against him in 2004 had seen the same intelligence that he had seen and all agreed that Saddam had WMDs and was a threat to the entire world. The UN had also agreed after having Saddam ignore 14 UN resolutions.
It is now obvious to me that people who say that Bush lied are either naive victims of Islamic- Facist propaganda or are just plain treasonous!
Today, President Bush made me proud to be a veteran, and proud to be an American.
