The Liberal press has the country sinking, particularly the Republican Party.
Its just not true.
There has been a Grand Hurrah vote in New Iraq regarding its new constitution. The liberal press hardly gave that a nib of attention. Shame shame shame.
The indictment of "Scooter" Libby did not prove a conspiracy in the White House. That is a sigh of grand relief to the Bush administration. Libbygate is over and out. Wilsongate may appear but Libbygate is over and out.
The American economy is doing quite well, though some news writers still bemoan the nations economy, even up to this very minute. Have they not heard or read about the "growth in the third quarter was broad-based, reflecting brisk spending by consumers, businesses and government. The expansion in gross domestic product in the July-to-September quarter, the strongest since the beginning of the year, also exceeded many analysts' expectations. Before the report was released, they were forecasting the economy to clock in at a 3.6 percent annual rate," according to AP.
A new Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke was presented to the American scene and the liberal news did hardly anything with the commendable news.
As for Harriet Miers, that too is over and out. So it is really no huge bump in the road. Life will go. Another name will come to the fore. This is a world in which there are detours on occasion. So what?
As for the 2000 troops giving up their lives for New Iraq, that is occasion for praise. They sacrificed the supreme sacrifice in order to transplant liberties to another nation. Liberal press cannot envision such a wonder move on the part of American young adults who remain true to their patriotic mission of freedom spreading.
US President George W. Bush promises that all illegals will go home. They will go home as soon as the US Congress can get its act together to implement same.
Red States enthusiasts continue their support for the president, including major conservative organizations, though the latter had a bit of angst regarding who Miers was. But now they are happy. And they never did quit on the President.
Cindy Sheehan continues to make a fool of herself while Americans standing alongside the troops continue to take the high road.
Ronnie "Earle of Injustice" continues to make a fool of himself, though derailing temporarily Tom DeLay. The saga is not yet over; but bets are on the side of Tom.
Katrina and Rita did not ruin the nations economy.
The President continues to remind the nation that he is the "Pro-Life President."
The President reminds Americans that he will remain true to his resolve to plant democracy in the previously demonic Saddam Hussein killing machine.
All the while, Nancy Pelosi and colleagues have nowhere to go for they have no platform on which to stand. Furthermore, Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean resurrects hate speech in Lewiston, Maine. Ted Kennedy has no insights for sharing with the media. In other words, the Democrats still have nothing to present to the public but nay-saying.
So, liberal press, who says the sky is falling?
